Alcoholic Beverage License. The Police Department recommends issuance of an alcoholic beverage license for the retail sale in original packages of beer and wine to Shahidul Huq for Oakview Market, 1529 Oakview Road. This is an ownership change.
Public Comment on Agenda Action Items. The public is invited to comment on agenda action items other than for “Requests and Petitions” and “Reports and Other Business.” Public comments that relate to “Requests and Petitions” will be heard later in the meeting.
Community Action Plan. Recommend approval of a proposal and establishment of Phase I project budget for the creation of a Community Action Plan for a Compassionate Decatur.
Conservation Easement. Recommended authorizing the Mayor to accept a conservation easement from Walden Square subdivision, 1004 Clairemont Avenue.
Approval of Street Repaving List for 2015 LMIG Application. Recommend approval of 2015 street repaving list.
Approval of Storm Drainage Improvement Design Services. Recommend authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with McFarland-Dyer and Associates for design of stormwater improvements at the intersection of Lockwood Terrace and Fairview Street.
Approval of a Contract for Storm Sewer Repairs. 1. Recommend establishing a project budget of $23,000 for repairs to storm water pipes in Superior Avenue between Huron Street and Seneca Street. 2. Recommend authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Summit Construction and Development, LLC in the amount of $18,490 for agreement with McFarland-Dyer and Associates for repairs to storm water pipes in Superior Avenue between Huron Street and Seneca Street.
Agreement for Update to FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps. Recommend approval of an agreement with Kimley Horn & Associates to update the Peavine Creek watershed portion of the City’s FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps.
